Muyeye was established in 2010 with the support from the Italian
friends the ITAKE and LE-PAROLR RITROVATE It is
situated in Muyeye village, unplanned settlement in
Malindi town.
The establishment of Muyeye VTC is a game
changer for the community to break the vicious cycle of
poverty by acquiring demand driven employable skills
for their decent and sustainable livelihoods.
Youth joining VTCS from primary schools in Kilifi County are at 5% and have a completion rate at 65%. Prioritization of VTC in the Kilifi CIDP 2018-2022 and NG-CDF bursaries are initiatives to deliberately educate the youth so as to bridge the gap that is likely to emanate from high level of attrition of the work force. The varsity is growing as first year students are more than second year students. A 100% of the students pass their exams annually.

- It offers 10 courses with an enrolment of 386 first year (253 males and 129 female) and 195 second years (133 males and 62 females) students.
